Universal Rules

1. Rise with the sun to pray. Pray alone. Pray often. The Great Spirit will listen, if you only speak.

10. Bad thoughts cause illness of the mind, body and spirit. Practice optimism.

11. Nature is not FOR us, it is a PART of us. They are part of your worldly family.

12. Children are the seeds of our future. Plant love in their hearts and water them with wisdom and life's lessons. When they are grown, give them space to grow.

13. Avoid hurting the hearts of others. The poison of your pain will return to you.

14. Be truthful at all times. Honesty is the test of ones will within this universe.

17. Respect the privacy and personal space of others. Do not touch the personal property of others - especially sacred and religious objects. This is forbidden.

19. Respect others religious beliefs. Do not force your belief on others.

20. Share your good fortune with others. Participate in charity.

Bringing Love to Every Moment

Whatever your fate is, whatever the heck happens, you say, "This is what I need." It may look like a wreck, but go at it as though it were an opportunity, a challenge.

If you bring love to that moment - not discouragement - you will find the strength is there. Any disaster that you can survive is an improvement in your character, your stature, and your life. What a privilege! This is when the spontaneity of your own nature will have a chance to flow. Then, when looking back at your life, you will see that the moments which seemed to be great failures followed by wreckage were the incidents that shaped the life you have now. As so as you come to terms with that, you will be finally able to really live you life to its fullest.

Never go at it Alone..

shared joy is a double joy; shared sorrow is half a sorrow.

There is no need for you to go it alone. what we forget when were down and out is that There are people who love you, and who are ready to give you much needed support as possible. There are even more, - way more than you can possibly imagine, people who CAN love you if you give them a chance. We tend to cut people off without even getting to know them because we judge a book by its cover. And isn't that just shallow with all the wrong morals..

Make 'share joy, half the sorrow' your motto for today.

ride vs. destination

Someone once said 'It is better to travel than to arrive.'

Ask yourself if its about the ride, or the destination..

Were given a path but so many opportunities as we travel down it. Just because one doesn't work doesn't mean the others won't either. Its about finding purpose, Your purpose, Your dream, Your Life.

And if there is one thing i can guarantee is that no one but you can find your way through it. No one but you can make the right decisions. Only you can Live to full potential but you can't have fears. Keep optimism, Have courage, Remember Hope and Faith. Never let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do. They don't walk in your shoes. Don't look back unless you want to remember something to help you for the present and remember no one knows whats held in the future.

This is one life, your life. Make sure at the end of it, when you look back, that you like what you see..

disillusionized

We strive so hard to have success that we let ourselves down to disappointment. But we led ourselves down that road. Strive for great, Expect worst, You end up in between without disappointment and in some cases you might end up even better. But expectations can be misleading..

We will always be judged, its the way society is, but you have to remember its how you are because of it that matters. If you let being judged bother you, your going to have many problems. But if you brush it off and keep on moving than who really cares what others think. And what gives them the right anyway. They must care on some level to take time out of their day to judge.. so doesn't that make you the better one anyway..And remember when people judge or hate on someone they are really only speaking and thinking of themselves..

The only time your not good enough is when you convince your own self that your not. No one can tell you who and what you are. Only you know and so if you tell yourself something your going to live by that. Everyone is more than good enough but its what we tell ourselves and how we carry ourselves that will be the outcome of how we feel.

To be not accomplished to is to have never been born. In one way whether you know it or not, you have changed lives and helped in some way. You have done good in the earth and have challenged yourself and others. everyone is accomplished in some way. to think your not is ignorant.

Stress is inevitable like society. With the hard times, the way people are and the hatred out there, there are so many things that can be stressful. But no matter what storm is going through your life you have to have faith and believe. pray. you have to understand that the storm does blow over even when you feel like you can't get up anymore. And when you pray you have to believe in what your asking. if you don't than He will not deliver. Why should he, you don't believe it.. You have to believe He will deliver and know it won't happen over night, and wont happen like a pure miracle, but opportunities will start popping up. There is your answers.

Faith is not necessary when you know how things are going to work out, - that's knowledge. It's in the time of unknowing that having faith is what sees you through to the other side. Faith is what gives you strength. Faith is that light in your heart that keeps on shining even when it's all darkness outside. Now is the time to keep that faith alive!

forgive

When another person makes you suffer, it is because they suffer deeply within themselves, and their suffering is spilling over. He/She does not need punishment; they need help. That's the message they are sending. Forgive, not because you are weak, but because you are better and because you know that everyone makes mistakes; especially those who are so lost. ♥a

starting over

You cannot let anyone else decide who you are. You have to decide for yourself. So step outside and take a breath. Get your perspective back and realize what you want your journey to be. When you look back on life, make sure you see Great and not regrets.

Tell yourself this:

'I'm not giving up, I'm starting over' And go from there. Thats not weakness for it takes all the strength you possess to do just that.

Remember to forgive. Because its always the first step to anything. and forgiving is not a weakness either. its takes courage to forgive. no need to forget, it ws a lesson learned, so use it but don't ever let something keep rein on you. so forgive and move on and remember that what your forgiving is someone else mistakes and weaknesses.

Keep you load light. You will never make it if you carry too much on your back. You will eventually collapse. Take things one at a time. When you do something make it right, not rushed and sloppy because it reflects you. So keep it simple and do it correctly. We don't have much power over things so when you get hthe chance to do some things, correct them, again i encourage you to do one at a time and do it right.

Never let anyone judge you and don't judge anyone else. we are all the same. what separates us is our minds and free will. So everyone has different decision making. when you judge your only judging yourself so be careful because most know that and when you speak ill of people your speaking only of yourself. Where else would those thought realm from.

Always keep cool even when angry because you always need perspective. Never wear blinders because your missing the beauty of the world. you eventually will be trapped by darkness.

Be a leader, but lead to greatness and nothing less. And never let people who stand beside you down.

purpose

What we go through has a purpose. What we fail to see is what that purpose is. but maybe were not supposed to know..

When you try something and it doesn't work it doesn't mean failure because failure is not trying at all. It just means it wasn't meant for you. God has bigger plans. When someone enters or exits your life its always for a meaning. They are there to help you learn something. We know that the evil surrounds us and that too is to help us see beauty that we stop seeing because of keeping blinders on.

And if there is one thing that i have learned is just because something is not happening or fitting in your life right now, doesn't mean it won't later. It just means now you are not ready.

Understanding life is not only key to survival but it will get you through the hardest of times. It will help you keep going instead of faltering and giving up. Never rely on anyone but yourself, not only is that a lesson of life but one of the most important. Just as following instinct is another.

Trust is something to be given only when you know you get it back but never trust someone who doesn't deserve it and don't give trust if you can't back it. Essentials to life lye in your hands but we don't want to see it. remember the 5 senses, they are there for a specific reason. And they are very good guides. But remember hearing is not listening, looking is not seeing, smelling is not savoring, tasting is not enjoying, touching is not feeling.

You can keep a guard up, but it only shields yourself to endless possibilities just as if you keep your heart closed, you cannot let love in and hatred out. Always have an open mind and remember that no matter what You in the end make the difference. xx

Simplicity...

We fail to see the beauty in such simple things. Mostly because of the simplicity of it, and also because of ignorance. When greed manifests into wanting more and more we become blind sided to the beautiful things we already have and should cherish, and the things that surround us that we should be grateful for. But were selfish creatures of habit.

But for those who have children, is that how you want your child to be? Because we know that everything we do now is everything they learn. They see more than we think, and hear more than we know. they pick up on much more than we imagine. Then there are people who are willing to settle for such little because they are afraid of bigger things. Such as love. When people are set in their ways they become again 'creatures of habit' caring what the people who surround them think. But those people never experience anything true or pure. So worried about what people think of them or what they would say, they lose so much in life. And than wonder why..

Today I would love for you to find one simple thing to cherish. Something you already have, someone you already have, someone you know, something around you, etc. File it away or share it here with us. I will share mine. I had my coffee outside this morning with a baby squirrel sitting about 2 inches away eating his nuts. It was a beautiful morning and the watching of the squirrel, the innocence and beauty, i cherish that few moments.

And for those who already do simple and are afraid to break out of the routine, i dare you too try something without caring what people think. without wondering what your friends or others would say. i invite you to try life on for what it really is.

fence sitters

Do not Let Anyone make you feel inferior. do not let anyone make you feel like something you said, say or do is stupid or ridiculous. Never let anyone have the illusion of control. Don't pretend you do either when you don't. Understand that ignorance surrounds us, but we make the choice to fall into it or to pass it by. No one is better than anyone. period. (for a few special someone's who need to know how special they are.)

God makes no mistakes and he makes only treasures. But we decide our outcome of what and who we become. Stop following, listening to fence sitters and start leading.

Fence sitters: procrastinators; or the people who sit and do nothing while the world passes them by. their ignorant and think they are better. And most of all is they judge because they have nothing better to do than to see their reflection each morning and hate.

that to worship God you must go beyond words to speak with your heart: You can mouth the words of a prayer all day long and just waste your time, unless you also speak with your heart. And to speak with your heart means to embody first. If you pray for love, be loving. If you pray for wealth, be generous. If you pray for health, practice health yourself. A.`

You must trust yourself. If you do not, then you will forever be looking to others to prove your own merit to you, and you will never be satisfied. You will always be asking others what to do and at the same time resenting their help. Trust in yourself starts with being ok with the consequences of your decisions. And always remember that mistakes are only proof of you trying.. use them as learning experiences but never lose your own trust. ♥

Response

You may believe that you are responsible for what you do, but not for what you think. The truth is that you are responsible for what you think, because it is only at this level that you can exercise choice. What you do comes from what you think

Every morning when I get up, the first thing I decide is:

The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past ...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.

Co-Dependency

Co-dependency is a learned behavior that can be passed down from one generation to another. (this blew my mind when i had learned this once upon a time actually..) It is an emotional and behavioral condition that affects an individual’s ability to have a healthy, mutually satisfying relationship. aka “relationship addiction” .

people with codependency often form or maintain relationships that are one-sided, emotionally destructive and/or abusive. And will stay in it always trying to fix and balance the relationship out. The blame is always there's no matter what. An example is domestic violent relationships. People wonder why one party can't just leave it. Well besides being hunted when you do leave, the fact is these people can't. They can not function on their own. (so they think). its all psychological, but to the person in that state its as real as breathing air.

You ever notice, and if not you someone a friend or family member, tends to stray towards the same type of male/female in a relationship. even though they know it wont last and they know the person isn't good enough for them. Thats a tell tale sign. They want to fix these people but of course know they cant and will take blame for all their action and wonder 'what am i doing wrong.' 'i must be causing this' 'how do i change to make them love me'. These are all signs. Its not you, never was. the hardest to over come is that lesson right there.

More signs of Co-dependency:

An exaggerated sense of responsibility for the actions of others A tendency to confuse love and pity, with the tendency to “love” people they can pity and rescue A tendency to do more than their share, all of the time A tendency to become hurt when people don’t recognize their efforts An unhealthy dependence on relationships. The co-dependent will do anything to hold on to a relationship; to avoid the feeling of abandonment An extreme need for approval and recognition A sense of guilt when asserting themselves A compelling need to control others Lack of trust in self and/or others Fear of being abandoned or alone Difficulty identifying feelings Rigidity/difficulty adjusting to change Problems with intimacy/boundaries Chronic anger Lying/dishonesty Poor communications Difficulty making decisions

There are books out there, one i encountered, i can't think of the author at the moment, but its called 'Co Dependency No More'. and there is therapy. There is no shame in asking for help, only strength and courage to do so. I once upon a time was in this, had this.

When you come from a dysfunctional family its not your fault to end up like this. to want to love and be loved is natural, unfortunately how the process ends up is not. It is solvable though..

Alice in Wonderland (1951)

Alice in Wonderland has a great significance. in every line throughout the movie, they are actually quotes with powerful meanings. In 1951 when the original came out, that was the sole purpose of the film for children to enjoy the pictures but to understand as they grew that nothing is normal. That all those questions in the movie and all those 'quotes' are indeed part of life...:

Queen of Hearts: And who is this? King of Hearts: Let me see, my dear. It's certainly not a heart. Do you suppose it's a club?

Queen of Hearts: [after the Queen of Hearts is hit in the head and covered in the table cloth] Someone's head IS GOING TO ROLL FOR THIS!

Alice: [after eating a mushroom] I'm tired of being only three inches high. [suddenly grows out of control] Alice: Yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi-yi!

[Alice reaches the door to escape from the mob] Doorknob: [tries to open the door] D'oh! Still locked you know! Alice: [in horror] But the queen! I simply must get out! Doorknob: [chuckles] But you *are* outside. Alice: What? Doorknob: [opens his mouth] See for yourself. [Alice sees through his mouth and sees herself asleep with Dinah also sleeping on her lap by a tree in a beautiful meadow] Alice: Why - why that's me! I'm asleep! Queen of Hearts: [shout from a distance] Don't let her get away! Off with her head! Alice: [in terror, through the Doorknob's mouth] Alice, wake up! Please, wake up, Alice! Queen of Hearts: [comes closer with the other mob] Off with her head! Alice: Alice! Please, wake up, Alice! [as the mob draws nearer, the screen goes into multicolor until it shows Alice sleeping by the tree] Alice: Alice! Alice! Alice! Alice's sister: [changes to her sister's] Alice! Alice! Will you kindly pay attention and recite your lesson.

Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum: [singing together] How do ya do and shake hands, shake hands, shake hands. How do ya do and shake hands and state your name and business. [both spoken] Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum: That's manners!

[Alice laughs as her daisy chain falls on her sister's face]
